Happy New Year!

So 2013 is well and truly over. I'm a bit late on the New Year blog post and I apologize for that, but I had other things to do such as eating and watching the first Hobbit movie. 2013 had it's highs and lows, like every other year. My advice is too not focus too deeply on the bad points, nobody is guaranteed a full 365 days of absolute brilliance!

A quick breakdown of the awesome things that happened in 2013,

• Saw great people live such as Ed Sheeran, Orla Gartland, Lewis Watson, Passenger and Imagine Dragons.
• Taught my own art camp.
• Visited Barcelona (and Port Aventura) twice! (the first time was a school trip)
• Began my final year in secondary school.
• Completed my driver theory test and got my permit!

Not a bad year to be honest. Hopefully 2014 will be just as good. I've a good few things to look forward to already, such as finally seeing Fall Out Boy live in March, graduating, my debs and hopefully college! I already know that the first six months of this year will be nothing but stress because of the Leaving Cert but hopefully I'll get through it okay.

Now for my resolutions! I try not to set any that are meant to drastically change my personality, I've found that after many years of setting goals such as being more organised, tidy and less scatterbrained, resolutions like that never follow through.

• Get in to my college of choice
• Finish my art portfolio
• Learn how to drive (maybe even apply for my test!)
• Reopen my Etsy shop.
• Write my first screenplay
• See as much movies as physically possible!

I've got a new idea for a new feature for this blog, a monster post will be up soon about it! Either way I hope everybody reading had a good 2013 and that 2014 will be even better.
